The field of metal stamping parts is very wide, leading the continuous development of the industry

2021-03-13

The proportion of die-casting molds in the metal stamping die industry will continue to improve. With the development of products such as vehicles and motors in the direction of lighter weight, higher and higher requirements will be put forward for the number, life and complexity of die-casting molds. With the development of replacing steel with plastic and wood with plastic, and the continuous improvement of the precision and complexity of product parts, the proportion of plastic molds will continue to improve, and their precision and complexity will also increase accordingly.

Stamping processing has a wide range of applications in various fields of the national economy. For example, in aerospace, aviation, military industry, machinery, agricultural machinery, electronics, information, railways, post and telecommunications, transportation, chemical industry, medical equipment, household appliances and light industry, there are stamping processes. Not only is it used in the entire industry, but everyone has direct contact with stamping products. There are many large, medium and small metal stamping parts on airplanes, trains, automobiles, and tractors. The car body, frame, rim and other parts are all stamped out. According to relevant survey statistics, 80% of bicycles, sewing machines, and watches are stamped parts; 90% of TV sets, tape recorders, and cameras are stamped parts; there are also food metal tank shells, steel boilers, enamel bowls and stainless steel tableware. They are all stamping products that use molds; even computer hardware cannot lack metal stamping parts.

Compared with the main engine, the investment required by enterprises to establish initial capital and technology is relatively small. After several major economic development periods in my country, a number of private production enterprises have sprung up. However, due to the large market demand and small batch size, Not an economy of scale. Most hardware manufacturing enterprises are large and complete or small and complete, with low technical level, low equipment level, unstable quality and low economic benefits. For example, the total annual output of the three large-scale backbone enterprises in my country's motor industry is less than 50% of a famous foreign company. In the past two years, thousands of stamping parts factories have been built in some areas of my country, but only a few have an annual output of more than 300,000 pieces. The main products are agricultural machinery. The German Rexroth company produces 1.3 million pieces of various stamping products per year, and Japan Yuken Co., Ltd. also produces more than 600,000 pieces per year. The per capita output value of industrially developed regional mold companies is about 150,000 to 200,000 US dollars, while my country's only 40,000 to 50,000 yuan. Luo Baihui pointed out that in recent years, with the implementation of the common development policy of multiple ownership systems, the hardware industry is undergoing a development process from decentralization to gradual intensification.

In the late 1970s and early 1980s, various hardware industries introduced a number of advanced foreign technologies, but they lacked sufficient software and hardware inputs for digestion and absorption. According to foreign experience, the ratio between the introduction of technology and the capital required for digestion and absorption is about 1:7, but our country’s understanding of this is relatively late and the digestion and absorption steps are slower. Market competition is actually a contest of technical strength. Foreign countries attach great importance to this, increasing investment one after another, occupying the commanding heights of technology. The funds used by major well-known companies for scientific research and development account for 4% to 5% of their sales, and 10% in key areas. Although many universities and colleges in my country are engaged in scientific research, and many theoretical research, scientific research results, and patent papers are of a high level, they are not closely integrated with the actual production, and the conversion into commodities is particularly slow.
